The social media platform X, owned by Elon Musk, recently experienced a significant service outage. Many users were unable to access messages, with the browser platform failing to load properly. Additionally, the platform's AI feature, Grok, was also not operational. Reports of the outage began circulating at approximately 3:45 PM (Spanish peninsular time), according to Down Detector, a real-time service status monitoring site. After more than an hour of downtime, services resumed around 5 PM.
Users attempting to access the website x.com encountered an error message stating: “This page is down.” The issues affected both the mobile app and the website.
This marks the second outage for X within the same week, with the previous incident occurring last Tuesday and lasting roughly 30 minutes.
