TikTok Shuts Down Simón Pérez’s Account Following Streamer’s Tragic Death

The social media platform TikTok has officially closed the @simondesintoxicacion account managed by Simón Pérez, a well-known influencer who rose to prominence in 2017 for his discussions on mortgages. Recently, he became infamous for hosting live shows in which he used drugs in front of an audience. The account’s closure follows the tragic death of his live partner, Sergio Jiménez, 37, in Vilanova i la Geltrú. Jiménez gained attention through videos he made with Pérez in October.

In response to inquiries regarding the account’s closure, TikTok has stated they will not provide further comments on the matter.

Previously, in August, Pérez was banned from another live streaming platform called Kick after the tragic passing of French streamer Raphaël Graven, a notable figure on that site. Following this incident, Pérez created a TikTok account to share his challenging detoxification journey. He revealed a setback in his recovery on December 18 during a YouTube video, where he shared that he had experienced a small relapse. This fall, Pérez spent several days in a detoxification center and produced videos for TikTok as part of his process.

With over 23,000 followers on TikTok, Pérez had used his account for live broadcasts aimed at recruiting subscribers to his private groups on messaging platforms such as Telegram and Google Meet. Although there are still TikTok accounts sharing viral clips of Simón Pérez, he does not manage these. Currently, YouTube remains the only platform where Simón Pérez’s content can be accessed.
