The social network owned by tycoon , known as X, experienced significant outages on Monday evening, particularly impacting users in the United States and around 7:15 PM (peninsular time, 18:15 GMT). The reasons for this disruption remain unclear.

Earlier in the day, at approximately 2:15 PM, the platform encountered widespread malfunctions that lasted for about an hour. Users swiftly reported these issues on Down Detector, a website focused on real-time service outages. Reports indicated problems with both the mobile app and the web version of X.

When attempting to access the site, users encountered a message stating that “the posts are not loading at this time,” with no successful resolution offered. This morning outage hindered many users from viewing messages, as the browser version appeared to be non-functional.

Reports of the service disruption began circulating around 2:00 PM Spanish peninsular time. Approximately one hour later, the number of reported incidents declined significantly. During this period, over 3,000 users in reported issues to Down Detector, peaking at 2:30 PM before the service began to stabilize.

When navigating to the website x.com, users often received the frustrating message: “Something went wrong. Try to reload.”
